A Day in History

Although not everyone might be glad Barak Obama is our new President, no one should deny what an important day this is. It is a day of change, a day of hope and a day that shows us that if we decide we want to do something we can with hard work and commitment. Everyone is unique and different but that is what makes the United States what it is. As American we need to accept and respect.

Mason, Summer and I put on our red, white and blue to honor the wonderful country we live in, The USA. We were all able to watch the inauguration. For homework Mason had to write 5 parts of Pres. Obama's speech that he thought were important and Summer enjoyed reading the story of Ruby Bridges before bed.
